Battle Royale is similar to the children's card game War. One card is dealt face up to the player and then one to the dealer. Which ever is the highest card wins.

The game continues in this manner, with both the player and the dealer alternately receiving cards until two cards of the same value are drawn. This is known as a tie.

On drawing a tied hand, the player will be prompted to either 'surrender' or 'battle on'. If the player decides to surrender their wager is lost and a new hand begins.

If the player chooses to battle on, they must double their wager and the cards will continue to be dealt as normal. If there is a second tie during the course of a battle, the player wins their wager at 7 to 1.
